St-Nazaire
Guests arrive aboard Thalassa , moored in the port of St. Nazaire, around 16.00 hrs.
Located on the Atlantic coast, St. Nazaire is famous for its shipbuilding industry, the centre for the construction of oceanworthy ships. The Queen Mary II was built here. Also known as the city of twenty beaches, St. Nazaire offers a wide range of natural and cultural attractions. On the coastal promenade, close to the city centre, you can relax in the charming 19th century residential areas. Famous wineries in the region are Chateau de Ventenac Minervois, Chateau Cabezac or Domaine du Somail.

Ile de Yeu
The ship sails to the following destination: Île de Yeu (anchorage)
For a long time, the island of Île de Yeu was the most important port for tuna fishing in the Atlantic Ocean. On this island you will find beautiful natural landscapes, wild coasts with steep cliffs above which the impressive old castle of the island towers is situated.

La Rochelle
Guests spend the day in La Rochelle. La Rochelle has a rich history. La Rochelle is a bicycle-friendly town (more than 200 km of cycle paths) where bicycles can be hired in many places. Also on foot you can get a good impression of this beautiful city by taking a walk in the Tourist Office. Among other things, the old town around Les Halles, the old covered market from the 19th century, is worth a visit. The narrow streets with their archways are special and make the city one to remember, it is pleasant to stroll and shop here. The most important old streets are :

Shipping to Royan
The ship sails over to Royan. Royan has a large harbour with a beautiful seafront promenade, a favourite destination for holidaymakers. In Royan you can also admire the villas from the Belle Epoque. Very special too are the oyster farms in La Tremblade.

Pauillac
In the morning the ship sails to Pauillac.

The municipality of Pauillac is world famous for its three:,en. In Pauillac the estates of the Rothschild family are the main attraction. During a guided tour you will not only see the wine cellar with precious bottles of wine behind iron fences, but also the special collection of labels designed every year since 1945 by a famous artist.

Bordeaux
In the morning we set course for Bordeaux.
Bordeaux, the capital of the Gironde department. In Bordeaux you will find beautiful squares (Place de la Bourse, Place Pey Berland) surrounded by grand buildings and impressive statues. Bordeaux is a real wine city and is surrounded by vineyards. In the city itself there are several museums dedicated to the wines produced in the surroundings of Bordeaux. The Musée des Vins and La Cité du Vin are worth a visit.
