Youth travel Windseeker
Youth travel/youth exchange program:
Thalassa participates in international exchanges for youngsters between 15-25 years, organized by Windseeker.
Youngsters from all over Europe learn how to sail on a Tall Ship, make friends and practice their English (English is the main language on board).
Manoeuvring, hoisting the sails, navigating, climbing the masts, but also cooking and cleaning are some of the responsibilities of the young sailors. Young people as trainees are part of the crew on board and together they are responsible for the ins and outs of life on board.

School at sea winterproject
A winter voyage with an onboard learning programme has been developed especially for young people, supported by qualified teachers for the School at Sea project. In October our youngsters embark on the Thalassa again for a 6-month voyage.
The School at Sea programme is supported by three main pillars: school work, expeditions ashore and the ship. All three are necessary for a successful year.
The information days and fundraising trainings for the 2024/2025 voyage are in full swing.
