Mile builders are an affordable way to join a passage aboard three-master Thalassa. This is a proper offshore passage-making experience and non-stop navigation, night sails and long distances are the order of the day. Be prepared to participate in the watch, hoist and trim the sails and help maintain the ship as an integral part of the crew. You don´t need any previous sailing experience – the professional and experienced crew will teach you everything you need to know – but any experience you do have will be put to very good use. Sailing is always intense and demanding and we understand the need for good, hearty food on board. Our talented chef will entice your senses and  satisfy both your taste buds and your stomach throughout the crossing.

MILESMAKER: HAMBURG/GERMANY- OBAN/SCOTLAND

On Sunday  the 9th of May 2021 you will depart with sailing ship Thalassa from Hamburg, Germany. After embarkation, a welcome word and safety instructions you set course for a trip of almost a week on the North Sea. This trip of almost a week takes you through the German Bight, the North Sea and then along the Scottish coast. You will arrive on Saturday 15th of May 2021 in Oban, Scotland, the pearl of the West-Highlands. 
 
Embark: Sunday 9th of May 2021 at 21.00 hrs in Hamburg.
Disembark: Saturday 15th May 2021 at 10.00 hrs in Oban

Price € 500,- p.p. including all meals, drinks with the meals (coffee. tea, milk and water), complete bed linen and towels, excluding all other drinks.

The sailing voyage begins in Germany and ends in Scotland. You are responsible for arranging your own transfers. This is NOT included in the price.

After embarkation, a welcome word and safety instructions you set course for a trip of almost a week on the North Sea and then along the Scottish coast. You will arrive on Friday 6th of May 2021 in Oban, Scotland, the pearl of the West-Highlands. 
 
Embark: Sunday 1st of May 2021 at 21.00 hrs in Harlingen.
Disembark: Friday 6th May 2021 at 10.00 hrs in Oban
