In the course of the season the Thalassa attends several races, some of them with a yearly return.
For the real sailing enthusiast a Tall Ships Race is highly recommended.
Tallship Thalassa is also a training ship, this means that you can sail along as a 'trainee'. During these races you actively participate in the ins and outs of sailing on board. You will learn from our crew how to hoist and lower the sails, brew, navigate, set course, etc. (even at night, while on watch).
The Tall Ship Races are the largest international ocean races for sailing training ships where the most impressive Tall ships from all over the world participate at.
Both young and old can join in during this fantastic spectacle. On board people of different nationalities and backgrounds come together.
